For the Citrus Syrup: Combine the listed ingredients inside a pot, bring to a light boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Then, take off the stove allowing it to cool completely. Transfer into an clean bottle, close it and store in the fridge, it can be stored for around one month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Combine all the liquids into a large bottle, let it rest for 60 minutes, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, so it's fully clarified.
For serving: Pour 85ml of your cocktail base into your stirring glass filled with ice, gently stirring lightly for one minute to cool it down. Strain into a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
